Rin's body is one of the final pieces of this puzzle. Absolutely be sure to read Rin's diary first, otherwise, the quest will glitch out. Search the skeleton and pick a wooden sword next to him, named Rin's Toy Sword. Go there, and right behind them, you will find a well and a child's skeleton. Immediately upon leaving the house, looking straight from the entrance, you will see four oddly-shaped trees, two big in the middle and two smaller ones on the sides. Rin's body location in The Unquiet Dead quest Head straight to these peculiar trees. Now when you have found and read all of the journals, head back outside. Read it and then search for Rin's diary, which is located under his bed. When you are done with the basement, head to the first floor (or second if you are an American), where you will find Urva's journal on a work table. You will find the second journal on the desk upstairs, but make sure to pick up another diary under the bed as well! A secret room will be revealed and a ghost will attack you. Starting from the basement, where you will find a secret button - hidden behind some barrels right of the basement's entrance - press it. There are several journals inside the house to read.

There's a hidden button in the cellar, which will open a secret room. Make sure to read the note next to the body in front of the house before proceeding into the house, as the quest will bug out if you don't do it in that order. Upon dealing with the ghost, "The Unquiet Dead" quest will start. Make sure to pick up the note next to a dead body before entering the house.

First, you will see a few dead bodies scattered in front of a house, and soon after a ghost will charge aggressively towards you. If you've successfully found the Goldenhills Plantation location, you will immediately realize that something is seriously wrong here. But in their final days the Champion does not find anyone in the Thieves Guild to be worthy of being the next Gray Fox, and hence expresses their wish to hide the Gray Cowl in a place where only a worthy thief or the Dragonborn could find it. The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal was passed on by Corvus Umbranox to The Champion of Cyrodiil at the ending days of the Third Era, making them the Gray Fox.
